Coral Reefs are one of the most complex ecosystems on earth. It is formed by a rock like accumulation of calcareous exoskeleton of coral animals, calcareous red algae, and mollusk.Coral Reefs builds up layer by layer over millions of years to. Coral Reefs are tropical which means they need warmer water. Unusually coral reefs can not take warm water. Optimum temperature for there growth is 26C. It grows 1 to 20cm per year.
